Gayan Withanage

Director - Audit

Gayan Withanage is an experienced professional with over 14 years of specified experience in auditing, taxation, and related financial services in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

He started his career as an audit associate of Deloitte Sri Lanka and worked as an audit manager of Ernst & Young Maldives Office.

He is an Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka). In addition, he has completed the Application Level – Chartered Tax Advisor Course (CA Sri Lanka).

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in of B.Sc. Accounting (Special) with Second class at Faculty of Management Studies & Commerce (University of Sri Jayewardenepura – Sri Lanka).

Among 14 years of experience, He has served in the Maldives, working as an audit manager of Ernst & Young Maldives Office, serving a diverse portfolio of clients covering a vast range of sectors including Insurance, Banks, Hospitality (Hotel management), Construction, Retail & whole sale business, Investment, Manufacturing, , Services and SMEs,  from multinational companies to high net worth businesses, in the field of auditing, Advisory, tax consultancy and other finance related Services.
